- Knowing your credit score and what's on your credit report can help you determine what products to apply for. If you have fair credit, for example, you may not want to apply for a card that clearly states that only applicants with excellent credit will be approved.

Yes your card will Arrive and it will be great and will work great, until about a year later when Barclays decides to sell your account out to creditshop. There not only doing this to sub-prime people there doing it to everyone. When your card gets there, all your benifits go away to. And to top it off they will give you a bunch of fees and tell you your 30 days later. And if you think its a mistake and wait 30 days your account gets charged off. This happened to me. DONT TRUST BARCLAYS THERE ARE BETTER BANKS OUT THERE AND NONE OF THEM DO THIS. STAY AWAY FROM BARCLAYS IF YOU CAN!!!
"This card is horrible.. I've been with them over 3 years and 6 months with a credit limit of $3200 not 3700; and out of nowhere they dropped it to $1600 without ever missing a payment which also dropped my credit score over 50 points. Now with this credit limit demotion, it will take my credit usage from 44% up close to 90%. Absolutely no consideration to their loyal members whatsoever. Then they had the nerve to use the old excuse that it was due to the information on my credit file, which was exactly the same or even more improved since I became a member. That was just a flat out lie. I can not stand unprofessional business dealings. I am beyond upset! I will do my best to take my loyalty to a company more reliable, with less deceitfulness, and inconstancy!
"Stopped using them several months ago after speaking with a credit analyst who could hear but did not listen. Was refused a credit line increase request (simply trying to increase my credit score as a result of same) and without getting into the sordid details, let's simply say their performance opened my eyes and allowed me to apply for and receive a far superior rewards card as well as a better banking institution. Their poor handling of my simple request cost them a customer. I should also add that I emptied my online savings account with them and also found a more viable option. I'm quite certain their know-it-all credit analyst could care less.Maybe someday he will learn to 'listen' instead of simply 'hear'.
"I just received this card. I was charged $15 for an overnight fee. I did not request that the card be overnighted. Poor customer service. I know it's just $15, but I hate paying for something I didn't ask for.
"My experience every time I call with issues has been seamless...and no foreign accents! My score was about 700 when I got the card and they gave me a line of 20,000...so I think that a lot of these reviews are just BS. Great Customer Service. No Dispute issues. No deception. Awesome rewards.
